Jacopo Sipari di Pescasseroli – Conductor

Born in L’Aquila in 1985, he studied piano, composition and singing and graduated at “A. Casella” Conservatory of L’Aquila, and then he continued his studies in the most important national and international schools and academies under the authoritative guidance of artists such as Alberto Veronesi, President of Puccini Foundation and Jan Latham Koenig, music director of Novaya Opera of Moscow.

He has received numerous awards: the “Young Italy” award by the CNEL, the “Chimera d’Oro” International Art Prize for music innovation. In 2012 he was appointed “Honorary Citizen of Abruzzo” for his merits in music and culture.

He conducted Italian and international great opera productions such as “Norma” at the Greek Theater of Syracuse, “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” at the Taromina Ancient Theater, “Nabucco” at Pompei Ancient Theater, “La Bohème” with E. On August, 2018, he will conduct Beethoven IX Symphony for the President of The Italian Republic.

On November, 2018, he will conduct Rossini Stabat Mater for His Holyness Pope Francis in Vatican.

He is constantly invited as guest director of the ballet at the Belgrade National Theater where he directed the great productions of Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker” and “The Sleeping Beauty”.

He also conducted for Italian, Vatican and International TV: Beethoven VII Symphony, Beethoven IX Symphony, Tchaikovsky V Symphony, Verdi Requiem, Mozart Requiem, Rossini Stabat Mater and Petite Messe Solennelle, Lalo Cello Concert, Weber Clarinet Concert and the Final of the International Sacred Music Competition.

He was invited, in July 2017, to conduct Carmina Burana at the opening of the International Midsummer Festival of Italy.

At the age of 22 he also graduated in Law, and today he is a lawyer trainee in Rome and Assistant Professor of Criminal Law at “Roma Tre” University; he has also a PHD in Criminal Law, Civil Procedure and Canonic Law with a specialization in Latin language, and he is currently the youngest lawyer of the Roman Rota Apostolic Tribunal.

 

Klaudio Zoto – Cello

Klaudio Zoto started playing the cello at the age of 6. At the same age, he had his first concert debut in the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet, Tirana. At the age of 7, he won the first absolute prize in ArsKosova competition in Kosovo. Since then, he has received first prizes in different competitions such as: Tirana Talent competition (First Prize, Virtuoso Price); Agimus Competition Padova, Italy (First Prize); Concorso Euritmia Udine, Italy (First prize); Polyhymnia International Competition Skopje (First Prize and Grand Prix Laureate); Pjetër Gaci Competition (First Prize and Grand Prix Laureate).

From February to April 2018 he was a participant and finalist of the talent show Virtuozët (Prodiges). In June 2018, he won “Albanian Young Musicians”, the national selection for Eurovision Young Musicians, where he represented Albania for the first time.

Klaudio has had 7 recital concerts in the country and abroad. In Albania, he has played in the most important halls such as: University of Arts Hall, National Theatre of Opera and Ballet Hall, etc. In the age of 10, he held concerts in Berlin and Italy with “Tirana Youth Orchestra” where he played Vivaldi Concerto RV401 (conducted by him) and the premiere of Ymer Skënderi’s Sonatina.

Klaudio has participated in master classes with well-known world cellists such as: Antonio Meneses, David Geringas, Anssi Karttunen, Leonid Gorokhov, Yann Vaigot, Miltiadis Cassaras.

From September 2018, he is a student of Antonio Meneses in Accademia “Walter Stauffer”, Cremona.
